Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 medium sized beetroot.
  2. 2 cups wheat flour.
  3. 1 tbsp semolina.
  4. 1 tsp kasuri methi.
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  6. 1/2 tsp ajwain.
  7. Salt to taste.
  8. Water as required.
  9. Oil for deep frying.

Instructions

  1. Puree the raw beetroot in a mixer.
  2. Now mix all the ingredients together except the oil.
  3. Knead a dough.
  4. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Make small balls from the dough
  6. Roll out medium sized pooris out from the balls.
  7. Deep fry them in hot oil on medium flame.
