ABOUT Palaada.(Rice crepes) RECIPE

A malabar traditional aapam,muslims make during festivals. . A healthy & delicious dish,goes well with any veg or non veg dishes.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw rice 1 cup
  2. Egg 1
  3. Coconut Milk 1 Cup
  4. Water,enough for the batter.
  5. Salt.

Instructions

  1. Soak rice for 2 hrs.
  2. Grind rice with coconut milk & salt.
  3. Beat egg in a mixer & add to the rice mixture.
  4. Add enough water,to make a loose batter.
  5. Heat a non stick pan.pour batter,spread it with the pan itself,covering all places. Somewhat like a big thin dosa.
  6. When one side is cooked & the edges seperates from the pan ,remove .
  7. Serve hot.
