Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Spinach leaves 25 no.
  2. Salt 2tsp
  3. red chili powder 1tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder 1tbsp
  5. green chili 4 no
  6. grated coconut 4 tbsp
  7. Onion 1 no.
  8. Garlic cloves 4 no
  9. Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
  10. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  11. Gram flour 2 cup
  12. Oil 2 tsp + 2tbsp for frying

Instructions

  1. Remove the stem and wash carefully the leaves.
  2. Make a fine paste with green chili coriander and coconut.
  3. Now mix all the ingredients together and 2tsp oil.
  4. Apply the mixture on one leave then put another leave and apply the mixture. Make a bundle with 6 leaves.
  5. Now make all bundles as above.
  6. Heat steamer and steam the bundles for 10 minutes.
  7. Cool down and cut into round
  8. Now heat the oil and fry the pieces till crisp .
  9. Serve hot with chutney.
