ABOUT DHUSKA RECIPE

Dhuska is a North indian famous dish ...its a traditional dish of jharkhand & Bihar ....people love to make it during Holi...its goes superb with potato gravy and pickle or chutney

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 3 cup basmati rice
  2. 1 cup soaked chana dal
  3. 1/2cup soaked urad dal
  4. 4 cloves garlic
  5. 1 inch ginger
  6. 1 handful chopped coriander leaves
  7. 4 chopped green chilli
  8. 1 medium finely chopped onion
  9. 1/2 cup water
  10. 1 pinch turmeric
  11. Salt per taste

Instructions

  1. soak rice and daal for 4-5 hours
  2. Grind with green chillis, garlic, ginger and little water.
  3. Batter should not be very thick nor too runny.
  4. Add chopped coriander leaves, little bit turmeric and salt to it. And keep aside for 5 minute
  5. Heat oil in a pan
  6. With the help of spoon gently release the batter into the oil.
  7. Fry from both sides.
  8. Serve with any gravy dish...or pickle
