Start by boiling the ashgourd in 1 cup water, with enough salt and turmeric.
Meanwhile, soak all the items listed in to grind in quarter cup water for 15 minutes.
Grind them to fine paste.
Add the paste into the ashgourd.
Allow standing time of generous 5 minutes, switch off the flame.
Add in the thick curd, give a fair stir.
Season the items to be tempered in coconut oil and pour on to the curry
