ABOUT Chow chow mor kuzambu RECIPE

This is a simple gravy served with hot rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Thick butter milk 2 cup
  2. Salt
  3. Grated coconut 2 table spoon
  4. Green chilly 2
  5. Soaked rice, toor daal 1 table spoon
  6. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Coconut oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Grind the coconut and green chilly into a smooth paste.
  2. Now pour this into a saucepan, add buttermilk.
  3. You can add any boiled vegetable pf your choice, or else you can have this on its own.
  4. Heat this mixture on a low flame and simmer this for 10 minutes.
  5. Now heat some coconut oil in another pan, add mustard seeds and let this splutter. Add this tempering to the cooking mixture in the saucepan.
  6. Add dhaniya [coriander] leaves and serve hot with some rice.
