Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 21/2 cups all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  3. 2 tablespoon semolina
  4. 1 cup grated dry coconut
  5. 1 cup ghee
  6. 1 3/4 cup sugar
  7. 4-6 cardamom (powered)
  8. 1 cup milk
  9. Ghee for Deep Frying

Instructions

  1. Take all the flour and semolina in a wide vessel, add ghee mix evenly.
  2. To the mix add grated coconut, sugar and cardamom.
  3. Bring everything together by slowly adding milk, making a stiff dough. (Tip - you need not use all the milk)
  4. Make small balls of the dough and press it into shape of your choice.
  5. Deep fry on medium flame, turn gently to cook evenly on both sides.
  6. Take out when it's beautiful golden brown
