Very different from the original Thekua!!

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Maida or all purpose flour 500gm
  2. Sugar 1/2 kg
  3. Milk to knead the dough
  4. Coarsely ground nuts (cashew, almond, makhana, raisins) 1 cup
  5. Grated coconut 1 cup
  6. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Make powder of sugar, In a mixing bowl ad all ingredients.
  2. Mix well and knead a soft dough using milk.
  3. Keep for 48 hours with covered lid.
  4. Now punch dough for few seconds.
  5. Take medium portion from dough and make round shaped puris.
  6. Heat oil and fry in medium hot oil till golden colour appear.
