Brown rice and pear payasam/kheer is healthy indian style pudding as we know Pears are a very good source of an important mineral called boron, which helps keep the bones and your memory strong. And Brown Rice is rich in fiber and is a good source of manganese and selenium. and add almond crystals for crunch.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup brown rice
  2. 2 tablespoon sugar
  3. 2 CUP MILK
  4. 1/2 cup chopped pear
  5. 1 Cup water
  6. For almond crystals::
  7. 1 tablespoon almond( half cut)
  8. 1/4 cup sugar
  9. Chocolate stick for garnish
  10. Pear wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak brown rice for half half hour.
  2. Cook rice with 1 cup of water..
  3. In saucepan add milk , rice and chopped pear and sugar cook till milk reduce a little .stire constantly...
  4. Switch off gas and let it cool .
  5. For almond crystals.
  6. In pan add 1/4 cup sugar and melt in low flame..add almond and mix well.
  7. Pour this mixture in to plate or silicone seat..crush it..
  8. Pour brown rice payasam in glass and garnish with Almond crystals.
  9. Serve chilled.,
