ABOUT Veg Chinese Fried Rice (Restaurant Style) RECIPE

Restaurant style easy Chinese fried rice recipe made in Chinese style. It can be served as main course with any Chinese style side like chilly or manchurian.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Long grain rice or basmati rice 2 cups
  2. Oil 2 tablespoon
  3. Crushed garlic 2 teaspoon
  4. Crushed ginger 2 teaspoon
  5. Green chilly paste 2 teaspoon
  6. black paper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Chopped cabbage 1 cup
  8. Chopped green capsicum (long thin strips) 1/3 cup
  9. Spring onion green 1/2 cup
  10. Ajinomoto a pinch (optional)
  11. Soy sauce 2 teaspoon
  12. Green chilly sauce 2 tablespoon
  13. Red chilly sauce 1 tablespoon
  14. Vinegar 2 teaspoon
  15. Salt as per need
  16. Orange red tandoori color (optional)

Instructions

  1. COOKING RICE : Wash rice till the water runs clear.
  2. Soak rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  3. Add the soaked and drained rice into hot water. Add salt according to your taste
  4. On medium flame cook rice without lid.
  5. When the rice looks almost cooked remove the pot from fire.
  6. Drain excess water and keep the rice on slow flame with lid for at least 5 minutes just like we keep biryani rice on dum it will become perfect when you cook fried rice.
  7. MAKING VEG FRIED RICE :
  8. Now for the fried rice take a big wok. I use the wok which is almost all professional Chinese cooks use. It will give better outcome when you make Chinese fried rice.
  9. Take your veggies except spring onion green and saute it in Little oil, black paper powder and ajinomoto and little salt. And cook it till it gets a little bit of soft.
  10. Transfer these veggies on another plate.
  11. And now in same wok add oil. Crushed ginger, crushed garlic. Saute it for few seconds on high flame.
  12. Add green chilly paste. Saute it. Add green chilly sauce, soya sauce, red chilly sauce, vinegar, orange red tandoori colour, salt according to taste, ajinomoto and again saute it well.
  13. Add all the veggies which we have already sauteed, spring onion green, cooked rice. And mix everything well.
  14. Garnish with spring onion. Your sizzling hot veg Chinese fried rice is ready.
  15. Note: you can also use other veggies like beans, broccoli, carrot etc. And ajinomoto and artificial colors is optional. You can skip it if you want.
