Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Rice 1cup
  2. sliced onions 2/3cup
  3. chopped tomato 1
  4. Green chilli 1
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  7. Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  8. water 21/2 cups
  9. coriender leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak rice for 6-7minuts
  2. Heat oil in a heavy bottom deep pan and add onions in it and cook Till it becomes golden brown
  3. When onion becomes golden brown add chopped tomato and green chilli and cook
  4. Add salt red chilli powder turmeric powder in it
  5. Add soaked rice in it and mix well
  6. Add water and cook it on high flame
  7. When water get vaporised simmer the flame put a lid on vessel and cook for 2-3minuts
  8. After 2-3minuts switch off the gas and mix the pulaw Garnish with coriender leaves serve hot with rayta or any curry of your choice
