ABOUT Healthy Chicken Manchurian RECIPE

A tasty version of chicken manchurian, a little indianised but equally delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken 500 gms
  2. oil 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic pods 8 finely grated
  4. Ginger 2 inches finely grated
  5. Onion 1 chopped finely
  6. Green chilli chopped finely 2-3
  7. black pepper powder 1 tsp
  8. Corn flour 2 tbsp
  9. Chopped coriander leaves 2 tsp
  10. Tomato sauce 3 tbsp
  11. Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  12. Vinegar 1 tsp
  13. Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  14. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix corn flour with 5-6 tbsp water
  2. Heat a nonstick pan with some oil.
  3. When hot enough add onion, garlic and ginger
  4. Saute for 2-3 mins
  5. Add green chilli
  6. Saute for few minutes more.
  7. Add chicken pieces , salt , turmeric powder and chilli powder . cover and cook for 20 -30 mins or until chicken pieces are cooked well
  8. Now add soy sauce , tomato sauce
  9. Mix well , add ajinamoto , black pepper powder
  10. Stir and mix vinegar , corn flour mixture
  11. Add little water as well [1/2 cup]
  12. Cook for few minutes more.
  13. Stir in between
  14. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  15. Serve hot with fried rice
