ABOUT Masaledar Mutton RECIPE

Mutton is cooked in a pressure cooker with masalas and spices. An easy quick recipe and taste divine. This is a good option when you are in a hurry but wanted to have something good and tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Mutton - 300 gms 
  2. Onion - 1 large chopped 
  3. Tomato - 1 medium chopped
  4. Dry Red Chilly - 2 broken 
  5. Green chillies - 2-3 slit
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp 
  7. Cinnamon - 1 small stick 
  8. Cardamom - 3 
  9. Cloves - 3
  10. Bay leaf - 1
  11. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  12. Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  13. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp 
  14. Kashmiri Red chilly powder - 1 tsp 
  15. Garam masala powder - 2 tsp 
  16. Salt to taste 
  17. Mustard Oil - 3 tbsp 
  18. Water - 2 cups or as required
  19. few chopped coriander leaves
  20. Ginger julienne for garnish

Instructions

  1. Take a pressure cooker. Add all the ingredients mentioned above except the coriander leaves and Ginger Julienne.
  2. Mix them altogether nicely and cook for about 5 mins.
  3. Add 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 10 mins on high heat and simmer for 5 mins.
  4. Let the pressure release by itself. Open the cooker and if there is any gravy evaporate it completely by cooking further with lid open.
  5. Add the chopped coriander leaves, give a quick stir and take off the heat.
  6. Garnish with ginger julienne and serve.
