ABOUT Hyderabad Style Masala Scrambled Eggs RECIPE

This is one of the classic breakfast recipes of Hyderabad City. It is the most favourite of almost all the people here. It is loved by the children too and hence is widely popular as a breakfast idea. The best part is that it can be whipped up in just a few minutes and suits the busy morning hour rush and hence comes as a boon to the mothers and especially the working mothers.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Eggs 6
  2. Onions large, finely chopped 3
  3. Green chilies, finely chopped 4 or Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tbsp
  4. Salt 1 tbsp
  5. Coriander leaves, finely chopped A handful
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  7. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  8. Oil 2-3 tbsp
  9. Garam masala 1 tsp
  10. Chat masala 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions. Add the ginger garlic paste and the green chilies. Add the turmeric too and saute the onions very well until light pink in colour, for almost 7-8 mins.
  2. As soon as the raw smell fades away, break the eggs one by one on the sauteed onions. Immediately start stirring and mixing it well so that it is evenly combined.
  3. Cover it up and let it cook for the next 10 mins. Turn off the gas. Garnish with lots of coriander and serve hot with chapatis or even parathas.
