Idli is a tradition breakfast in south Indian households.Idli is a savoury cake that is poular throughout India ,aloo idli ,mix vegetable idli stuffed idli ,plain idli with sambhar there is lots of variety today m going to make stuffed idli.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Idli batter- 2 cups
  2. 2 tbsp chopped onions
  3. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tbsp chilli ginger paste
  6. 2 tsp eno fruit salt
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. First of all heat 2 tbsp oil and saute onions properly then add chilli ginger paste saute them again. Now add grean peas, salt, red chilli powder, coriander leaves mix all the ingredients very well, cook it for few minutes.
  2. Take it out in a bowl and keep aside. Now divide the idli batter into two equal parts in bowls, add salt in both and mix it well, keep one batter is plain and add turmeric in 2 nd batter.
  3. Now add some water in both the batters and mix well, now both the batters and stuffing is ready.
  4. Now grease a idli maker, add half tsp of eno and 1 tsp of oil so idli will be fluffy. Shift the 1 part batter add stuffing in the center and now pour 2 nd part of the batter.
  5. Cook it for 10 minutes, until they becomes soft. Now shift the idli on a plate, check the idli buy dipping spoon or knife if nothing comes out then it's ready else cook it for further few minutes.
  6. For tempering - Heat 2 tbsp of oil add whole dry red chillies, sesame seeds, cumin seeds and cook it little.
  7. Now pour the tempering on idli, served it and enjoy it
