ABOUT DAHI KE KEBAB WITH ITALIAN FLAVOURS RECIPE

Soft and flavorful kebabs

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gms Curd
  2. 1 finely chopped red bell pepper
  3. 1 finely chopped green capsicum
  4. 1/4 cup grated paneer or homemade paneer
  5. 4 tbsp arrowroot powder
  6. 1 tsp chilli flakes
  7. 1 tsp oregano
  8. 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Some onion rings for garnishing
  11. Tomato sauce and chutney for serving
  12. 2 tbsp oil for brushing the kebabs

Instructions

  1. Put the curd in a muslin cloth
  2. Put this muslin cloth in a big strainer
  3. Place the strainer on a big bowl
  4. Place this bowl in the fridge
  5. Leave it for at least 6 hours so that the extra water comes out
  6. In this way the curd remains and is called hung curd
  7. There should be no extra moisture in the curd
  8. If it requires more then keep it in the fridge a bit longer
  9. When done take it out in a mixing bowl
  10. Now add all the ingredients one by one
  11. Add salt , oregano , chilli flakes , italian seasoning , bell pepper , capsicum , grated paneer and arrowroot powder
  12. Mix well and start making equal sized balls from the mixture
  13. In the meantime heat a pan on low heat
  14. Grease the pan with little oil
  15. Now wet your hands with little water
  16. Take a ready mixture ball and flatten it in your palm
  17. Try to give it a round shape
  18. In this way make all the kebabs
  19. The mixture is very soft so handle it very gently
  20. Place the ready kebabs one by one in the hot pan
  21. Roast on low heat by brushing them with little oil
  22. Roast them until becomes brown from both the sides
  23. When done take them out in a serving plate
  24. Serve them with onion rings, tomato sauce and green chutney
