ABOUT Spicy Spinach Raita or Palak Raita RECIPE

Spinach Raita is a healthy, refreshing raita. You can enjoy with a meal or after meal as a refreshing drink. It is very easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups - Curd or yogurt
  2. 1/2 cup - Spinach Puree
  3. 1 tsp - black salt
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. 1/2 tsp - red chili powder (optional)
  6. 1 tsp - roasted cumin powder
  7. 1/4 tsp - sugar
  8. 1/4 cup - finely chopped cilantro
  9. 2 tbsp - water (depends on the thickness of raita)
  10. 1-2 grated green chili
  11. 1/2 tbsp - grated ginger

Instructions

  1. In a blender mix curd and Spinach puree.
  2. In a bowl add blended curd. Add green chili, ginger, sugar, black salt, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder and water.
  3. Mix well. Garnish with cilantro.
  4. Spinach raita is ready.
  5. Serve with rice or chapati or you can drink it as refreshing drink after meal or before meal.
