ABOUT Paneer Tikka (South Indian Style) RECIPE

South Indian style paneer tikka flavored with curry leaves and some basic ingredients made in a pan over gas top.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Paneer - 200 gms Cubed
  2. Curry leaves - 15-20 leaves
  3. Onion - 1 chopped
  4. Green chillies - 2 chopped
  5. Ginger - ½ inch chopped
  6. Garlic - 4-5 cloves chopped
  7. Curd - 3 tbsp
  8. Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  9. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  10. Pepper powder - ½ tsp
  11. Coriander powder - ½ tsp
  12. Cumin powder - ¼ tsp
  13. Oil - 2 tbsp
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Grind the onion, chilli, ginger, garlic and curry leaves to a fine paste.
  2. Take the paste in a mixing bowl and to it add the other masala ingredients mentioned in the ingredient list and mix well.
  3. Add the paneer to the marinade.
  4. Mix well and marinate them for sometime.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Add the marinated paneer and cook them on low-medium heat.
  7. Flip them over in between the cooking and cook for 10-15 mins.
  8. Remove and serve with any chutney of your choice
