ABOUT Spinach raita RECIPE

Blanched spinach blended with curd and spices

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup blanched Spinach
  2. 1/2 cup thick curd
  3. 2 green chillies
  4. 2-3 Garlic Cloves
  5. 1 tsp Oil for seasoning
  6. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  8. 6-7 curry leaves
  9. Salt
  10. 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Blanch spinach with little water
  2. Drain water and Blend it in a mixer with all ingredients except the ingredients for seasoning
  3. Heat oil, put mustard, asafoetida and curry leaves
  4. Pour the seasoning on raita and serve.
