I have big sweet tooth :relaxed:every time desserts are on my to- do list :yum:these jamuns are little darker in colour as suji is used and stuffing of dried rose petals and dry fruits make these more deadly and delicious:heart_eyes:

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Khoya - 1 cup
  2. Maida/Apf - 3tbsp
  3. Semolina/suji. -1tbsp
  4. Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  5. Oil for frying
  6. For Filling
  7. Rose petals jam/ gulukand - 2tbsp
  8. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Finely chopped cashews
  10. For sugar syrup
  11. Water - 2 cups
  12. Sugar - 1-1/2 cups
  13. A pinch of saffron
  14. Rose water - 1 tsp
  15. Cardamom powder -1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl add khoya, maida, suji, baking powder and knead gently to make a soft dough.
  2. Heat oil in a wok.
  3. Grease your hands with ghee and pinch a lemon size ball out of the dough.
  4. Make an impression with the thumb and stuff gulukand and chopped nuts in it and roll it into a smooth ball.
  5. Fry in mild hot oil
  6. Make sugar syrup of one string consistency.
  7. Take the balls out of the oil and shift it into sugar syrup.
  8. Serve hot :heart_eyes:
