ABOUT Soya Keema Fried Momos RECIPE

A perfect dish for tea time. Everyone loves Momos. This recipe has a healthy stuffing.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Flour 1 1/2 cups
  2. 1/2 packet soya keema soaked for 30 mins
  3. 1/2 cup grated cabbage
  4. 1/2 cup grated carrots
  5. 1 finely chopped onion
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red chilly powder as per taste
  8. Water

Instructions

  1. Soak soya keema and keep aside for 30 mins
  2. Once the soya is soft squeeze and keep aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan add onions grated cabbage and carrots and saute till vegetables are tender
  4. Add salt and red chilli powder mix well and add soya keema. Cook for 2-3 mins
  5. For the dough -
  6. Add salt to the flour and mix well. Knead a dough using water
  7. Take very small portions of dough roll them out in circles until a little translucent
  8. Fill each portion with the soya keema filling and close each one like a money bag
  9. Heat oil in a pan add the Momos 3-4 at a time
  10. Remove when they turn golden brown
  11. Serve hot with ketchup or Ching's Momo chutney
