Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Parsley and Mint leaves 1/2 cup
  2. Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
  3. Salt
  4. Oil 1 tsp
  5. Cumin powder 1/3 tsp
  6. Chilli powder 1/2 tsp or chopped green chilli 1
  7. Dry mango powder or lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  8. Onion chopped 1/2
  9. Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  10. Water 1/2 cup
  11. Ghee or butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the leaves roughly
  2. Chop onion
  3. Heat 1/2 tsp oil
  4. Add chopped onion
  5. Fry until they are brown
  6. Add cumin powder , chilli powder , dry mango powder and garam masala
  7. Add salt too
  8. Mix , add mint and parsley leaves too
  9. Saute for 2-3 minutes
  10. Switch off the gas
  11. Keep aside
  12. Take flour , salt and little oil
  13. Add leaves mixture
  14. Now mix water a little quantity at a time
  15. Knead a soft dough
  16. Keep aside for 30 mins
  17. Now make 4-5 similar sized balls
  18. Roll them
  19. Heat a griddle
  20. Fry parathas on both the sides till cooked
  21. Now spread butter or ghee
  22. Fry until brown
  23. Serve hot with tea
