ABOUT Fish roast RECIPE

This fish roast is perfect for all occasions. Very easy to make and it looks attractive too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fish-1 kg
  2. Salt, chilli powder and turmeric- as per our taste
  3. ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  4. Orange food colour - 1 pinch
  5. egg-1
  6. Bread crumbs or corn flakes powder

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash fish with salt and turmeric
  2. To this cleaned fish, add salt, chilli powder and turmeric. Next add ginger garlic paste and little orange food colour.
  3. Mix well and marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator
  4. Heat oil in a skillet and in the mean while, break an egg and whisk well in a bowl. In another plate, keep bread crumbs or plain corn flakes powder to roll.
  5. Now take out each fish slice and dip in egg batter and quickly roll into bread crumbs or corn flakes powder and drop it into hot oil. Or use oven at 180C for 30 min or use non stick tawa and shallow fry in slow flame.
  6. Any method of cooking tastes great.
  7. Now our fish roast is ready to serve.
