Karachi halwa in the microwave

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cornflour 1/2 cup
  2. Sugar 2 cups
  3. Water 2 cup
  4. Elaichi powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Chopped Cashew nuts 10-15
  6. Ghee 2 Tbsp
  7. Food colour 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix cornflour, sugar, water and food colour in a large microwavable bowl without any lumps.
  2. Microwave in high for 6 min.after 4 min.in between Mix once, again microwave for 6 min.
  3. Stirring in between after every 2 mins.
  4. Fry cashew in ghee till golden brown and mix well along with elaichi powder .
  5. Grease a plate with ghee and pour in the plate and let it cool down for 1/2 hour or so, cut in to pieces and enjoy.
