ABOUT Oats Katori Chat RECIPE

This is my try to give one famous Indian street food a healthy touch . So here I am sharing the guilt free super tasty oats katori chat in air fryer .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oats 1/2 cup
  2. Flour 1/2 cup
  3. Potato 1
  4. Onion 1/2
  5. Chickpea 1/3 cup
  6. Tomato 1
  7. Curd 2 tablespoons
  8. Coriander leaves 1 cup
  9. Tamarind pulp 2 tablespoons
  10. Jaggery 4 tablespoons
  11. Chat masala 2 teaspoons
  12. Salt to taste
  13. sugar 1 tablespoon
  14. Small bowl made of steel 1
  15. Oil 3 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Wash the chickpeas and soak overnight in the water .Cook the potato up to two whistle in the pressure cooker .
  2. Cook the chickpeas up to 8 to 10 whistle in the pressure cooker .
  3. To make the katori for oats katori chat in a bowl add oats , flour and 1 teaspoon salt .Knead it well and made a semi soft dough .Make small size ball and roll it flat in a round shape .
  4. Grease the bowl with oil and wrap the flat round shaped dough around it .Pre heat the air fryer at 200°c for 4 minutes .
  5. Now place the bowl with dough up side down into the sir fryer carefully .Brush some oil on it and air fry it for 10 minutes .
  6. In a mixer add roughly chopped coriander leaves , sugar and pinch of salt and make a smooth semi thick paste(Chutney is ready) .
  7. In a pan add 1 cup of water and tamarind pulp and boil.
  8. Mix it very well so that the jaggery get completely mix with tamarind .Let cool.
  9. In a bowl add chopped tomatoes , chopped potatoes , chopped onion and chickpeas .
  10. Add salt , chat masala , curd , tamarind chatni and green chatni . Mix well.
  11. Take a spoon full of this mixture and place it in a katori .
  12. Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves and chat masala on the top .
  13. Your healthy oats katori chat made with very little oil is ready .
