ABOUT Vegetable Fried Rice RECIPE

A quick and colourful Chinese style fried rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati rice- 1 cup (precooked)
  2. Cabbage, finely chopped - 1/4 cup
  3. Carrots, finely chopped - 1/4 cup
  4. Capsicum (green, red and yellow) , finely chopped - 1/4 cup
  5. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  6. Green chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  7. White pepper powder - 2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Ginger, finely chopped- 2 tsp
  10. Garlic, finely chopped- 2 tsp
  11. Oil- 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok, then add in the ginger and garlic.
  2. Once the garlic turns golden in colour, add in the carrots and cabbage. Saute for a minute and add the capsicum.
  3. Put the flame on high and saute for a minute or two.
  4. Then add in the soya sauce, green chilli sauce, white pepper powder, salt and mix it well. Next add the precooked rice and toss it well.
  5. Serve it hot for best taste.

hi, can we add vinegar in this?
