ABOUT Vegetable Fried Rice RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Leftover rice
  2. 1 cup chopped capsicum
  3. 1 cup chopped beans
  4. 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  5. 1 sliced onion
  6. 1 chopped green chilli
  7. Coriander leaves
  8. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  11. Pinch of garam masala
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and add oil.
  2. Add cumin seeds let them crackle.
  3. Add sliced onions and green chilli.
  4. Saute.
  5. As the color changes add beans and capsicum cook for a minute.
  6. Add Tomatoes, saute and cook for a minute.
  7. Add red chilli, turmeric powder and salt .
  8. Saute, then add leftover rice.
  9. Mix properly.
  10. Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves. Serve hot.

this is veg biriyani, or pulav, not fried rice.
