Burfi made with Apple with added grated coconut

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Apple 3 ( big. ) approx 500grms
  2. Milk 3oo ml.
  3. Coconut grated 1 cup.
  4. Condensed Milk 1 tin.
  5. Ghee 2 Tbsp
  6. Maida 2 tbsp ( for binding)
  7. Almonds blanched and chopped 1 tbsp
  8. Pistachio chopped 1 tbsp
  9. Saffron strands 8 to 10
  10. Cardemom powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast coconut to get brownish colour. Keep aside.
  2. Peel Apple and chop finely.Heat ghee saute Apple , add milk( keeping 2 tsp aside ) and cook.
  3. Add roasted coconut and maida. Saute till mixed well. Add condensed milk according to sweetness you want. Mix saffron in 2 tsp warm milk and add.
  4. Saute to thicken. Add Cardemom powder. Take out in a plate with Parchment paper. Garnish with Pistachio and Almonds.
