ABOUT Stir Fry Vegetable Rice RECIPE

Stir Frying is a Chinese cooking technique in which ingredients are fried in a small amount of very hot oil while being stirred in a wok.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. -2 cups long grain rice
  2. -1 tablespoon chopped Garlic
  3. -1 tablespoon Julienne Ginger
  4. -3 tablespoon Sesame oil
  5. -2 tablespoon Soya Sauce
  6. -1 tablespoon Vinegar
  7. -1/2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  8. -1/2 tablespoon chili sauce
  9. -1/2 cup Julienne carrots
  10. -1/2 cups Julienne Red and Yellow bell peppers
  11. -1/2 Cup Julienne Mushroom
  12. -1/2 Cup Julienne Cabbage
  13. -Ajinomoto (Optional)
  14. -salt as required

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash rice till the water runs clear. Soak it for at least 10 mins and cook in lot of water with little oil, till al dente. Drain off the rice to a colander. Cool it.
  2. 2. Heat a wok with oil on the highest flame, add chopped garlic and Julienne Ginger sauté till they get fried slightly.
  3. 3. Add all the chopped veggies and fry for 2 to 3 Minutes. Don't over cook the vegetables.
  4. 4.Now add soya Sauce , Vinegar , Tomato sauce , Chili Sauce in a Wok stir Fry for one minute .Now add Salt and Ajinomoto (as required) in a Wok and again Stir fry for half Minute.
  5. 5.Now Add rice Mix everything well and fry for 2 mins and now add Black Pepper (as required) Mix well , Switch Off the Flame . Serve hot.
