Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Grated coconut 2 tbsp
  2. Ground roasted peanuts 1 tbsp
  3. Potatoes 4
  4. Corn flour 2 tbsp
  5. Carrot grated 2 tsp
  6. Green chilli finely chopped 2 Or green chilli paste 1 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp
  8. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  9. Pepper 1 tsp
  10. Lime juice 1 tsp
  11. Sesame seeds (Roasted) 1 tbsp
  12. Ghee 1 tsp
  13. Oil 1 tsp
  14. Oil for frying
  15. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil and mash potato. Add grated carrot, salt, pepper, ginger, sesame seeds, and 1 tsp oil. Make a dough. Keep aside.
  2. Saute grated coconut in ghee just for 1 minute. Add chopped fresh coriander leaves salt and lime juice. Add ground peanuts.
  3. Grease your palm with oil and Make balls of potato dough and fill in with coconut mix. Be careful to seal from all sides properly so coconut will not come out and spread in oil.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry all the balls frying two at a time on a medium heat. Take out and keep on a absorbent paper to absorb extra oil. Serve hot with Green chutney.
