Sweet that melts in the mouth, made up of ghee and gram flour.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cup gram flour
  2. 3 tbsp milk
  3. 3 tbsp ghee or clarified butter
  4. 1 cup ghee or clarified butter
  5. 1 cup sugar
  6. 1 cup water
  7. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  8. 2 tsp almonds or pistachio chopped in small pieces.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix gram flour, 3 tbsp milk and 3 tbsp butter. Leave it to rest for 30 minutes.
  2. After 30 minutes pass the above mixture through sieve by pressing the mix.
  3. Heat the butter. To it add gram flour mixture.
  4. On a medium flame cook it for 5-8 minutes by stirring continuously.
  5. After 5-8 minutes it will be in somewhat liquid form with the colour changed.
  6. Turn off the gas and let it cool.
  7. On the other hand, take a pan, to it add sugar and water and make a sugar syrup of a single thread consistency. Turn off the gas.
  8. 8) Add this syrup to gram flour mix along with cardamom powder.
  9. Keep on mixing both for few minutes constantly.
  10. Transfer it to a greased plate, sprinkle dry fruits.
  11. Cool for an hour then cut in desired pieces.
