Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For outer layer-All purpose flour-11/2-Cup
  2. Semolina-1 1/2 -Tsp
  3. Corn flour-3-Tbsp
  4. Ghee-3-Tbsp
  5. Spinach puree-2-Tbsp
  6. Carrot puree-2-Tbsp
  7. Salt-1 -Tsp
  8. Orange food d colour-1/8-Tsp
  9. For filling- Boiled noodles-1 1/4-Cup
  10. Cabbage-1-Thsp
  11. Carrot-1-Tbsp
  12. Capsicam-1 -Thsp
  13. Onion-2-Tbsp
  14. Chopped ginger-1/2-Tsp
  15. Chopped garlic-1/2-Tsp
  16. Chopped spring onion leaves-1 -Tsp
  17. Black pepper powder-1/2-Tsp
  18. Chopped green chillies-2-No.
  19. Red chilly sauce-1/2 -Tsp
  20. Green chilly sauce-1/2 -Tsp
  21. Soy sauce-1/2-Tsp
  22. Tomato ketchup-1-Tbsp
  23. Oil-2-Tbsp
  24. Salt-1/4-Tsp

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add 1/2 cup of maida,1/2 cup sooji,,salt and Palak puree. Knead a medium soft dough. In another bowl add 1/2 cup of maida, 1/2 tsp sooji, salt, orange food colour and carrot puree. Knead a dough, in third bowl take remains all things and knead a dough.
  2. Keep and cover aside.
  3. In a pan heat oil, saute ginger, garlic,onion and green chillies.
  4. Add chopped cabbage, capsicam and carrot, let it stir for a while.add black pepper powder, soy sauce,both chilli sauce. Let it cook for few seconds. Add water.
  5. Now when water boils add boiled noodles, some salt and tomato ketchup., Mix well and cook well on high flame till all corporates. Add chopped spring onion leaves. Let it cool.
  6. In a bowl add corn flour and ghee and mix well till creamy. Take one portion from carrot puree and roll like chapati,same thing do with plain one and spinach dough. Apply evenly cornflour ghee mixture on three chapatis and keep green roti at bottom, plain roti at middle and orange roti at top. Apply corn flour mix at top too.
  7. Now roll it and make like a log cut at half inch pieces. And press it..
  8. Now roll tiranga Puri fill with 1 tbsp noodles mixture and shape like gujiya.
  9. Heat oil and fry gujiyas till done, fry some noodles for garnishing. Serve gujiya with green chutney and tomato sauce.
