Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 250 g.Refined flour
  2. 100 g.Butter
  3. Water for dough
  4. Dry fruits chopped - as per choice
  5. 4 pinches Cardamom powder
  6. 100 g Sugar powder
  7. 250. Mawa/khoya
  8. Ghee for fry the dry fruits
  9. Silver leaves(varq)
  10. Gujiya cutter

Instructions

  1. Make a dough with the flour, butter and water.
  2. Chop all dry fruits and shallow fry in ghee.
  3. Mix mawa & cardamom powder into the dry fruits.
  4. Add sugar powder.
  5. Mix properly.
  6. Roll out dough into a small chapati and place on the gujiya cutter, stuff with filling and seal with a little water. Preheat oven at 180 deg C.
  7. Bake the gujiyas for 12-15 minutes.
  8. Use silver leaves(varq) for garnish
