Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mango Rabdi:
  2. Milk- 1 litre
  3. Sugar- 3/4 th cup
  4. Mango pulp- 1/4th cup
  5. Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
  6. Roasted cashew nuts and raisins, chopped
  7. Mawa peda:
  8. Khoya- 1 cup
  9. Powdered sugar- 1/4th cup
  10. Condensed milk - 2 tbsp
  11. Cardamom powder- 1/4th tsp

Instructions

  1. To prepare the mango rabdi, boil the milk and keep stirring while it's on a low flame. Reduce it to almost half of it's quantity, then add the sugar and cardamom powder.
  2. Finally add the mango pulp and cook further till the required thick consistency is obtained.
  3. Chill and garnish it with chopped nuts and raisins.
  4. To prepare the mawa peda, heat the khoya in a nonstick pan and keep stirring. Saute till it turns almost brown.
  5. Then add the sugar, cardamom powder and stir.
  6. Add the condensed milk and stir till it is thick enough. Turn off the flame and let it cool.
  7. Make small pedas out of it and garnish with the fried kaju.
