ABOUT Vegetable Pakora RECIPE

Vegetable pakora recipe is an easy to make Indian starter prepared with mixed vegetables, gram flour, sweet chilli sauce and chat masala.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
  2. 1 medium onion finely chopped
  3. 1/4 cup greated carrot
  4. 1/4 cup finely chopped cauliflower
  5. 3 tbsps finely chopped baby corn
  6. 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  7. 2 tbsps finely chopped coriander leaves
  8. 1 tbsp sweet red chilli sauce
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
  11. Tomato ketchup and green chilli sauce for serving.
  12. Chat masala for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Mix together cabbage, onion, carrot, cauliflower, baby corn, green chillies, coriander leaves, sweet red chilli sauce, salt and gram flour in a bowl.
  2. Add some water and mix well to make a thick mixture.
  3. Now heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  4. Put portions of the thick vegetable mixture and deep -fry till golden brown and crisp.
  5. Drain these pakoras on absorbent paper and sprinkle chat masala on top.
  6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chilli sauce.
