This is a healthier version of the the famous indian snack i.e vada pav. Same recipe can be followed to make pav but without stuffing.

Ingredients Serving: 3
For the covering(pav. ):---
3 cups all purpose flour
1tbsp Active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
3/4 cup luke warm water or milk
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp milk powder
2 tbsp Oil
2 -3tbsp milk
For the stuffing:----
3 potatoes(boiled and cut into small pieces)
2 onions ( chopped)
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2tsp cumin seeds
few curry leaves
1 tbsp ginger- garlic paste
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp mango powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp chopped coriander
For garnishing
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 TBSP KASURI METHI
1 tbsp ghee/ butter
Instructions
Take 3/4 cup lukewarm water.Add 1 Tsp sugar and 1 Tbsp active dry yeast.Stir it and cover.Keep it for activating for about 10-15 minutes.It will froath as shown
In a mixing bowl take 3 cups all purpose flour.
Add yeast mixture.
Add 1 tsp salt and 2 tbsp milk powder.
Add 2 tbsp Oil.
Mix it well to form a dough.
Smooth it by kneading it for 3-4 minutes by hands.
Apply some oil .Cover it and keep it in warm place for 2 hours or till it becomes double.
In a wok heat 3 tbsp oil.Add 1 tsp mustard seeds,2 tsp cumin seeds,
Add curry leaves,green chillies,ginger and garlic paste.
