ABOUT Butterscotch Blondies RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Butter - 1/4 cup or 60 gms
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Egg - 1
  4. Vanilla - 1 tsp
  5. Flour - 1/2 cup
  6. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  7. Salt a pinch

Instructions

  1. Take sugar in a pan and heat on low flame until just melted and the color turns creamish.
  2. Add butter slowly and keep whisking, till sugar dissolves. Put off flame. Cool till room temperature or slightly warm
  3. Preheat oven to 180 C. Line a 8" baking tin with greased butter paper.
  4. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Keep aside.
  5. Beat in egg and vanilla into the sugar mixture.
  6. Add the flour mixture slowly and mix gently.
  7. Bake for 20 mins.
  8. Butterscotch Blondies are ready.
