Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 3O0 gm red chillies (for pickle)
  2. 4 tbsp mustard seeds
  3. 4 tbsp cumin seeds
  4. 5/6 dry red chillies
  5. pinch asafoetida
  6. 1 tsp fennel seeds
  7. 6 tbsp oil
  8. 15 tsp mustard powder ( yellow)
  9. salt as required
  10. 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a kadai add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, dry red chillies and fennel seeds.
  2. Dry roast all this for five minutes on low flame .switch off flame
  3. cool it and grind it in mixer .
  4. Add salt & mustard powder & 3 tbsp oil and mix well.Add 2 tbsp lemon juice .
  5. slit all red chillies in halves or if they are bigger cut into 4 pieces.
  6. Add filling inside chilly , likewise do sAme in all chillies
  7. Heat oil in kadai , sprinkle it on all chillies and mix well and rest for 1 hour .
  8. Add in airtight container and you can keep in sunlight for 2 days else it’s ready to eat .
