Whole wheat parathas made with filling grated radish and fenugreek leaves

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole wheat flour - 2 cups
  2. Water - As required
  3. Fenugreek (methi) leaves - 1/3 cup
  4. Grated radish(mooli) - 1/3 cup
  5. Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  6. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/3 tsp
  9. Salt - As required
  10. Oil - 1 tsp
  11. Ghee - As required

Instructions

  1. Take whole wheat flour in a big bowl
  2. Knead a sift dough with help of water.
  3. Keep aside the dough.
  4. Wash and chop methi leaves.
  5. Add grated mooli in it.
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Put methi leaves and grated mooli in pan.
  8. Add all spices.
  9. Add salt and cook till it becomes dry.
  10. Let it cool.
  11. Make big lemon size balls from dough.
  12. Give bowl shape each balls using your hand.
  13. Fill stuffing mixture and close all edges.
  14. Roll out carefully thick parathas.
  15. Cook all parathas on hot tava.
  16. Apply ghee or butter on parathas.
  17. Enjoy hot parathas with green chutney.
