ABOUT Malpua RECIPE

A simple and easy dessert,taste awesome with plain sugar syrup.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. 2 cups all purpose flour.
  2. 3/4 tesp fennel seed powder.
  3. 1/2 cup semolina.
  4. 8 tbsp sugar.
  5. 1/8 tesp baking soda.
  6. 1/2 cup milk.
  7. 2 cups water.
  8. Sugar syrup: 2cups sugar,2cups water,1 tesp cardamom powder.
  9. Oil or ghee to fry.

Instructions

  1. Make a batter out of all purpose flour,fennel seed powder, semolina, sugar, bkso,milk and water.
  2. The batter should be smooth without lumps.
  3. Let rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Make 1 string sugar syrup.
  5. Take oil or ghee in a pan and place on medium flame.
  6. Pour 2 tbsp batter and fry till it's golden brown.
  7. Remove serve hot with sugar syrup.
