Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Half cup jowar rava
  2. Half cup of tur dal
  3. diced veggies carrot, beans, potato ,capsicum etc
  4. one cup cooked chana (optional)
  5. ground nut
  6. puree of two tomato
  7. tamarind juice
  8. little jaggery
  9. two spoon rasam powder
  10. one each spoon chana dal, udad dal
  11. two spoon dhania
  12. two cloves, one small peice cinnamon
  13. dry kopra, fresh kopra
  14. half spoon jeera
  15. half spoon chilly powder
  16. salt
  17. ghee, jeera mustard, curry leaves turmeric

Instructions

  1. dry roast chana dal, udad dal, dhania, cloves, cinamon, dry kopra, jeera, and chilly powder. Grind after coolong along one small peice of fresh coconut
  2. cook the jowar rava and tur dal seperately
  3. heat two spoon oil , add carrot , beans along with pinch of turmeric and salt. and quarter cup water
  4. Add capsicum when veggies are half cooked
  5. Add tamarind juice , tomato puree and jaggery and bring to boil
  6. Add rasam powder and fresh ground masala and bring to boil
  7. Add the cooked jowar rava , cooked chana and tur dal
  8. Heat two spoon ghee crackle mustard, jeera add ground nuts pinch of turmeric hing and curry leaves and add to the bisi bele bhaat
  9. garnish with onion rings , fried cashew, boondi and potato chips. serve hot
