I give twist to normal besan dhokla,it tastes amazing.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Maize flour half cup
  2. Besan half cup
  3. Salt one spoon
  4. Sugar one spoon
  5. Haldi a pinch of
  6. Curd half cup
  7. Lemon half
  8. Water as required
  9. Fruit salt eno one pouch
  10. For tempering/tadka-
  11. One spoon oil
  12. One spoon Rai
  13. Some kari pattas
  14. Two green chillies
  15. Sugar one spoon
  16. Lemon juice one spoon
  17. Salt according to taste
  18. Water half cup

Instructions

  1. First sieve besan and Maize flour with salt.
  2. Add sugar, lemon juice,haldi and curd, mix properly.
  3. Now mix water and make a pouring consistency.
  4. Rest it for 5 minute.
  5. Take a steaming bowl and greased it.
  6. Make a steamer ready to steam
  7. Now in better mix eno or fruit salt and immediately put it in a greased bowl.
  8. Let it cook for 5 minutes on high flame and after medium flame on 10 minutes.
  9. Take a knife test, knife comes out clean, Dhokla is cooked.
  10. Now prepare the tadka.
  11. Heat a pan add oil and splutter Rai,Kari patta.
  12. Add green chillies cut into slit.
  13. Now add water and add lemon juice, salt and sugar.
  14. Take a boil.
  15. Pour it on Dhokla.
  16. You can garnish Dhokla with grated Nariyal.
  17. Chutney with chutney.
