ABOUT Sausage-Peppers Stir Fry RECIPE

An easy-peasy, yet a light, yummy and nutritious meal packed with vitamins and protein

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3-4 small sized bell peppers (of any colours)
  2. 75-80 grams of sliced chicken sausages(or any meat of your choice)
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 20 grams olives of your choice
  5. 1 medium sized onion
  6. 2 tablespoon olive oil
  7. 1 tablespoon crushed black pepper
  8. 1.5 teaspoon red chilli flakes/1.5 teaspoon paprika
  9. 1 tablespoon oregano powder
  10. juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. rinse the peppers thoroughly and slice them lengthwise
  2. discard the seeds and stalk in the process
  3. slice the olives in roundels and onions lengthwise
  4. slice the sausages too
  5. heat oil in a non stick pan
  6. add the onions, peppers and sausages
  7. on medium-Low heat fry for 2-3 minutes
  8. wait for the sausages to brown a bit
  9. add the salt and seasonings one by one and mix well
  10. add and mix lemon juice (optional)
  11. take off heat and transfer into a serving dish
  12. TOP with sliced olives and serve immediately
  13. Bon Apetit!
