Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Prawns 2kg
  2. Basmati rice 1kg
  3. Onions 1/2kg
  4. Tomatoes 1/4kg
  5. Curd 1 cup
  6. Chilly powder 2spoons
  7. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  8. Salt as required
  9. Oil as required
  10. Food colors orange, green, yellow
  11. Ginger garlic paste 3tbsp
  12. Whole garam masala few
  13. Pudina half bunch
  14. Coriander 1 bunch
  15. Lemons 3
  16. Green chillies 5
  17. Ghee 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Clean and deveined the prawns and keep
  2. Wash and soak the rice
  3. In a wide kadhai heat oil add the whole garam masala let it crackle
  4. Add finely sliced onions fry till golden brown
  5. Add gg paste and saute for 2 mts
  6. Add the prawns and saute nicely
  7. Add haldi chilli powder and salt and saute
  8. Now add finely sliced tomatoes pudina half of the coriander and green chillies and saute till tomatoes are done
  9. Add curd and saute for 2 mts
  10. Now add water 1:2 ratio and juice of 3 lemons let it boil nicely
  11. Now add soaked rice when it is cooked 3/4th simmer the flame
  12. Add the colours remaining coriander and ghee
  13. Close it keep some wait upon it keep for 10 mts dum
  14. Switch off the stove open after 5 r 10 mts
  15. Serve it hot
