Indian Senbai Crackers (Instant Rice Crackers)

ABOUT Indian Senbai Crackers (Instant Rice Crackers) RECIPE

Usually Senbai Creckers are Japenese tea time snacks and made with cooked rice, soya sauce and with dasha spice but here I try it with Indian spices and gives it the Indian flavour

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 bowl already cooked rice
  2. 2 tbsp rice flour
  3. 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
  4. 1 tbsp Poppy seeds
  5. 1 TBSP RED CHILLI FLAKES
  6. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  7. 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  8. 1 tbsp oil
  9. 1 tbsp Red chilli sauce
  10. salt as per taste
  11. Butter paper for rolling and cooking
  12. Red chilli powder and chat masala to sprinkle over it
  13. Chopped onion, tomato, fresh corrinder and some pomegranate seeds for sprinkle over it at time to serve

Instructions

  1. Take cooked rice in a mixing bowl add rice flour, roasted cumin and black pepper powder, salt and chilli flakes in it and mix nicely till all well combined
  2. Now add oil and red chilli sauce and mix well
  3. Now add poppy and black sesame seeds and mix nicely
  4. Devide mixture in equal amount
  5. Now take a butter paper sheet, place one part of mixture over the sheet and start to roll it
  6. Now take one roll and microwave it for 2 to 3 minutes each, make sure it's crisp but the rice not burn
  7. Each devide roll in different paper sheet and microwave one at a time for good result
  8. When done left it out and do same with all
  9. Now transform Indian Senbei Rice Crackers (Instant Rice Crack des) are ready to serve. Sprinkle some chilli flakes over the top and serve green chutney and sauce for more taste at tea time
  10. Or serve with chopped onion,tomato and fresh corriender and sprinkle some red chilli powder, chat masala and some pomegranate seeds over the top for more taste
