ABOUT Rice Dal Crackers RECIPE

The rice flour and the parboiled dal blend together to form this crunchy snack, a lovely magic in every bite.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Yellow Moong Dal - 2 tbsp
  2. Rice Flour - 2 Cups
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1 tsp Chilli Powder (Optional)
  5. 1 tsp Cumin Seeds

Instructions

  1. Start by dry roasting the dal until it's golden brown in colour.
  2. Add in 1 cup water and start boiling the dal until it's half cooked. Add in the salt, chilli powder, salt and cumin seeds.
  3. Slowly add in the rice flour and at the same time continuously stir it.
  4. Turn off the flame and place the heated mixture in a plate. Once the mixture gets warm, make a soft dough.
  5. Make them into small sized balls and shape them according to your preference.
  6. Heat up oil in a pan and fry these spread patterns until they are golden brown and crisp.
