These mathris are made of wheatflour,til and leftover sugar syrup.crispy from out and soft from inside.It's any time snack

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Wheat flour-2 cups
  2. All purpose flour/maida- 2 tbsp
  3. Semolina/suji/rava-1 /2cup
  4. Sesame seeds-1/2 cup
  5. Clarified butter/ghee-1/2 cup
  6. Oil for frying
  7. Sugar syrup -slightly more than 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. I took leftover sugar syrup of gulab jamun.Take it in bowl and bring it to room temperature.
  2. Arrange Ingredients
  3. To wheat flour add all purpose flour
  4. Then add semolina
  5. Next add sesame seeds.
  6. Add clarified butter.mix well
  7. Flour should hold the shape.
  8. Mix flour with syrup ,knead hard dough
  9. Like this ,keep it for rest for 20minutes.
  10. After 20 min .make this much size of equal balls of dough .
  11. Make all like this
  12. Take one ball at time and press it in between hands to shape it.
  13. Heat oil,dont make itt hot just medium and fry 4-5 mathris at a time at low flame.
  14. Flip it when light golden brown from one side.cook from both side at low flame till golden brown.fry all in same way
  15. Cool it completely.Then store it in airtight container
