ABOUT Ajwain pyaazi paratha RECIPE

It's an amazing stuffed paratha stuffed with absolute deliciously cooked onion stuffing. When the whether is cold or its raining outside just remove the ready chapati dough from the fridge and make this stuffing in no time. So as there's always some chapati dough left in the fridge, these are absolute easy and delicious to make.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chapati dough balls 4 or 5
  2. Onions 3 medium
  3. Ajwain 1 tsp
  4. Roasted Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Green chillies 2 finely chopped
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Mint leaves 1/4
  9. Oil 2 tsps
  10. Ghee to fry parathas

Instructions

  1. Make the stuffing. Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add ajwain. Let it splutter. Add the sliced onions. Saute till transperant.
  2. Add the spice powders, salt and green chillies and saute further. Add finely chopped mint leaves. Mix and switch off the gas. Divide the stuffing into 4 or 5 parts.
  3. Take a dough ball, flatten, add a part of stuffing. Spread
  4. Now gather sides and seal. Flatten and roll into a chapati.
  5. Fry with ghee on hot tawa
  6. On both sides
  7. Ready
