Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Small size prawns or shrimps- 24-25
  2. Potatoes 2 small to medium
  3. Onions 1 medium size chopped
  4. Garlic 2 cloves
  5. Poppy seeds 3 teaspoon
  6. Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  7. Termaric 1 teaspoon
  8. Red cilli powder 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  9. Salt as required
  10. Green cilli 3-4 (as you like)
  11. Mustard oil - about 3 table spoon

Instructions

  1. Clean prawns. Remove the thread from the and rince thoroughly.
  2. Rub with salt, termaric.
  3. Pill and cut potatoes in small cubes.
  4. Chop onions in small size
  5. Make a paste of poppy seeds , mustard seeds garlic and a green cilli
  6. Now in a cooking container mix all - Prawns, potatoes , onions , mashala paste, Red cilli powder salt and little termaric powder. Add 1cup of water
  7. Add mustard oil and green cilli slits
  8. Cover with a lid and cook on medium flame.
  9. After 20 minutes remove the cover and check. If potatoes well cooked then spread little mustard oil and cover again.
  10. After 5 minutes switched off the flame. Don't remove the cover
  11. Leave it for 5-10 minutes.
  12. Serve hot with Steamed rice with lemon slice and fresh green cilli.
