Coconut stuffed steamed semolina balls

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Semolina 500g
  2. Salt 1 tablespoon
  3. 1 Grated fresh coconut
  4. Sugar/jaggery 200g
  5. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 ltr water in a kadai add salt
  2. Then add semolina & stir continuously
  3. Try to avoid lumps
  4. Cook till semolina turns like smooth dough
  5. Let the dough cool down
  6. For stuffing fry Coconut & sugar till moisture absorbs
  7. Add cardamom powder to the stuffing
  8. Mix well off the gas & let it cool
  9. Make Lemmon size balls from semolina dough
  10. Make small bowls from the balls by help of your palm
  11. Add stuffing in the semolina bowls & cover it
  12. Roll like balls
  13. Steam all the balls in a steamer
